David C. Saunders
Founding Managing Director, K2 Advisors
David C. Saunders, Founding Managing Director, co-founded K2 Advisors in 1994. He was previously employed as a trader at Tucker Anthony & R. L. Day, First Boston Corp., and ABN Amro Inc. In addition, Mr. Saunders managed the trading desks at WaterStreet Capital and Tiger Management.
Mr. Saunders graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a B.S. degree in Business.
He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Maryland Foundation (USMF); he is Chairman of the Investment Committee of the USMF. He also serves on the Boards of the Tiger Foundation, the Windham Mountain Foundation, and the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation (USSA).
