Joseph Rotter
Managing Director & Head of the Principal Strategies Group, Neuberger Berman Investment Advisers LLC
Joseph Rotter, Managing Director, joined Neuberger Berman in 2016. Mr. Rotter is the CIO and Head of the Principal Strategies Group, which employs a market neutral, style factor minimized approach to event driven investing. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman, Mr. Rotter was a Managing Director and Global Head of Event Driven Investments at Citadel LLC. Prior to that, he was Co-Founder, Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at RoundKeep Capital Advisors LLC, a global event driven hedge fund, based in Chicago. Prior to founding RoundKeep, Mr. Rotter worked five years at Citadel Investment Group and served as a Managing Director and Head of the Event Driven Business for the Americas. Prior to joining Citadel, Mr. Rotter worked four years as a corporate attorney in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department of the New York office of Skadden Arps. Mr. Rotter graduated from Duke University and earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
