The firm was founded in 2013 by a highly experienced investment team comprised of former members of JPMorgan's Global Equities Proprietary Trading Group, led by Deepak Gulati, who was Global Head of the group from 2008-2012. The senior members of Argentiere's investment team have worked together for over 9 years, ensuring full continuity of investment and risk management processes. Argentiere deploys capital across a range of liquid strategies, seeking to identify and take advantage of the most attractive risk reward opportunities across asset classes. The firm seeks to generate attractive risk adjusted returns which are uncorrelated with broader markets.
Argentiere is based in Zug, Switzerland with an additional office in Chicago. The firm is comprised of 31 professionals, split between investments (14), operations/support staff (15), and risk (2) and currently has $2.4bn in assets under management.
Argentiere Capital is licensed by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority ("FINMA"), is registered with the SEC as an investment adviser under the Advisers Act, with the CFTC as a commodity pool operator, and is a member of the National Futures Association.
