Nassim Taleb

Nassim N. Taleb is a former derivatives trader who became a researcher in probability in 2006. He is a Distinguished Scientific Advisor at Universa Investments L.P., an investment manager that specializes in tail hedging as a means to protect long-term equity returns. He is also Distinguished Professor of Risk Engineering at New York University.
Mr. Taleb is the author of the Incerto and close to 45 scientific papers on various aspects of probability, risk, and fragility. His work focuses on fragility and how systems can handle errors and disorder.
