Yudivian Almeida Cruz
Co-Founder, Isladata Cuban Enterprise & Editor, OnCuba Real Estate Magazine
Yudivian Almeida Cruz is a Cuban professor and entrepreneur. Born in Cuba in October 1980, he attended college at the University of La Havana, graduating in 2004 with a degree in Computer Science.
Later he completed doctoral studies at the University of Alicante, graduating in 2011 in the doctoral program "Technologies for Information Society". This title was approved in Cuba with the title of Doctor in Mathematical Sciences.
Since graduating he has worked as a professor of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science University of Havana where he directs the Research Group on Artificial Intelligence.
He has participated as an organizer, committee member and speaker at many events in the field of computing, also has been a reviewer for several magazines and events. He has presented papers and published articles in magazines and events, inside and outside Cuba. He has also collaborated and participated in several projects of various kinds made in Cuba.
At present, parallel to his work as a university professor, is the editor of the magazine OnCuba Real Estate and focuses on the development of Isladata Cuban enterprise which he co-founded and was released in the first TEDxHabana developed in Cuba. It aims to provide information services to enable decision-making in the management of enterprises, institutions and businesses.
