Christian Zann
Partner & Portfolio Manager - Energy, Balyasny Asset Management (BAM)
Christian Zann joined BAM in 2004 as a Long/Short Energy Portfolio Manager. He was made a Partner in 2007 and also serves as head of our Chicago office. Since joining Balyasny, Mr. Zann has been one of the primary allocations and attribution drivers within Balyasny's main fund, Atlas Global. In January 2014, Mr. Zann launched the Balyasny Zann Industrials & Energy fund (Zie). Zie offers direct access to a concentrated portfolio of priority names in the energy and industrial sectors. Prior to BAM, Mr. Zann was an Analyst and Sector Portfolio Manager at Fidelity Investments in Boston where he managed the Fidelity Select Natural Gas, Fidelity Select Software, and Fidelity Select Consumer Industries during his tenure from 1996 to 2004. Mr. Zann earned his BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
