Robert Nardelli

Robert Nardelli joined the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) board of directors in 2014. "During my tenure at GE, The Home Depot, and Chrysler, I have been a strong supporter of the men and women who have served our country and protected our freedom," says Mr. Nardelli. "I am pleased to be a part of the Wounded Warrior Project board and look forward to a highly productive relationship."
With 45 years of leadership experience, Mr. Nardelli brings a wealth of expertise to the Wounded Warrior Project board of directors. In addition to his work with WWP, he serves as vice chairman for the
Board of Trustees of the Savannah College of Art & Design and is a member of The Business Council.
Mr. Nardelli is the founder, chairman, and chief executive of XLR-8, LLC, Investment & Advisory Company and is a senior advisor for Ernst & Young, one of the world's leading professional services organizations. He is also a senior advisor to Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. Prior to joining Cerberus as CEO of Cerberus Operations & Advisory Company, LLC, in 2009, he served as chairman and chief executive of Chrysler, LLC. From 2000 to 2007, Mr. Nardelli served as chairman, president, and CEO of The Home Depot, during which time he doubled the company's revenue from $45 billion to $90 billion. He began his career at General Electric (GE) as an entry-level manufacturing engineer. Rapidly advancing through a series of leadership positions, he was named president and CEO of GE Power Systems and senior vice president and member of GE's Corporate Executive Council in 1995.
Mr. Nardelli holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisville and a bachelor's degree in business from Western Illinois University.
