Colbert G. Narcisse
Managing Director & Head of Global Alternative Investments, Morgan Stanley
Colbert Narcisse is a Managing Director and the Global Head of the Alternative Investments Group at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM). He is also a member of the MSWM Management Committee. His responsibilities include the origination, research, due diligence, marketing and distribution of proprietary and third party alternative investment products and services including private equity, private real estate, hedge funds, fund of hedge funds and managed futures to Morgan Stanley financial advisors. He joined MSWM in 2011 as the Chief Operating Officer of the Investment Strategy and Client Solutions group.
Prior to joining MSWM, Colbert was the Chief Executive Officer of Gold Bullion International (GBI) from 2009 to 2011. GBI is a business services company that enables high net worth investors to acquire, manage and store physical precious metals through wealth management firms. From 1992 to 2009 he held a succession of executive management positions at Merrill Lynch (ML) including Chief Administrative Officer of Global Investment Banking and Chief Operating Officer of Global Wealth Management. Prior to this, he was an investment banker in both the Financial Institutions and Debt Capital Markets Groups at ML where he executed debt, equity, and hybrid capital and mergers and acquisitions transactions. He began his career in financial services as a Bank Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
He serves on the board of Harlem RBI and is a member of the Executive Leadership Council. He was formerly a Board Member of Carver Bancorp. He earned a B.S. in Finance from New York University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
