Jose Luis Daza

Jose Luis Daza is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of QFR Capital Management, L.P.
Prior to founding QFR Capital Management, L.P. in 2007, Mr. Daza was a Managing Director at Integrated Finance Limited ("IFL") from 2003 to 2007.
From 2001 to 2003, Mr. Daza was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, and served as the Global Head of Emerging Markets Strategy. He was also a member of Deutsche Bank's Emerging Markets Global Management Committee.
From 1992 to 2001, Mr. Daza was a Managing Director and Head of Emerging Markets Research at J.P. Morgan. At J.P. Morgan, Mr. Daza was a member of the Emerging Markets Management Committee.
Prior to J.P. Morgan, he worked as the Representative of the Central Bank of Chile in Asia, based in Tokyo from 1989 to 1992. He also worked at the Inter-American Development Bank as an advisor to the board of directors from 1985 to 1989.
Mr. Daza studied for his Ph.D. (abd) (1989) in Economics at Georgetown University*, where he received his M.A. degree (1983). He studied Economics at Universidad de Chile (1978-1979) and received a B.A. in Economics from the American University in Washington, D.C. (1982). *Mr. Daza completed the course work for his Ph.D. but not the dissertation.
