Seer Capital is a New York-based asset manager with over $2bn in AUM, specializing in investing in securitized products and loans, including RMBS, CMBS, ABS, CLOs, CDOS. The firm was founded in 2008 by Philip Weingord, former Head of Global Markets for the Americas at Deutsche Bank. Seer's expertise encompasses all aspects of securitized products investing including trading, structuring, sourcing, research, modeling and risk management.
Senior members of the Seer Capital team have more than 20 years of experience in the securitized product markets. Several of the founding partners have worked together for more than two decades, first at Credit Suisse and then at Deutsche Bank.
The firm's versatile approach allows it to opportunistically source global investment opportunities, deploy a deep-dive, fundamental research process, and allocate capital to sectors and products where it identifies significant value. Seer Capital currently employs 37 people in total.
