Jonathan Yalmokas
Head of Americas Prime Brokerage, Bank of America Merrill Lynch
Jonathan Yalmokas is head of Americas Prime Brokerage at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, responsible for all aspects of the company's prime brokerage platform, distribution, capital introductions/consulting, financing and service offerings.
Jon has more than 19 years of experience in equities trading, sales, operations and technology. He has been working to help hedge funds run and grow throughout his career. Prior to Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Jon was at UBS, where he held several increasingly senior positions in prime brokerage, swaps and derivatives sales and trading. Most recently, he was head of U.S. Prime Brokerage Distribution and Delta-One Products. Prior to that, he ran the non-cash distribution effort within Equities for the North American region, focusing on high touch execution and coverage of institutional clients for flow derivative products.
Prior to UBS, Yalmokas spent five years at Goldman Sachs building their U.S. financing and synthetic products within Prime Brokerage. Before that, he worked for six years at Merrill Lynch in their London office in equity derivatives and financing roles. Yalmokas holds a B.A. from Boston College.
