Morris Mark
Founder & Managing Partner, Mark Asset Management
Morris Mark is the founder and Managing Partner of Mark Asset Management. Founded in 1985, Mark Asset manages fundamental, research intensive, long/short and long-only equity portfolios for institutional and individual investors. Morris has over 35 years of institutional research, professional investing and risk oversight expertise. Prior to founding Mark Asset, Morris worked at Goldman Sachs, holding positions in both Institutional Research and Risk Arbitrage. Prior to Goldman, Morris began his investment career as an institutional research analyst at First Manhattan Company. One year after joining First Manhattan, he was named to Institutional Investor Magazine's "All-America Research Team". He would go on to receive that honor, in more than one investment category, for 15 consecutive years. Morris is a Chartered Financial Analyst and graduated cum laude in economics from Brooklyn College, and received a JD from Harvard Law School. He is currently a member of the Harvard Law School Advisory Board.
