Andrew Hoine

Andrew Hoine is Managing Director and Head of Research for Paulson & Co., based in the New York office. He joined Paulson & Co. in 1998.
Paulson & Co. is a global event arbitrage hedge fund founded in 1994 with offices in New York, London and Hong Kong. The firm manages assets in five core strategies: the merger funds, the event driven funds, the credit opportunities funds, the recovery funds and the gold funds.
Mr. Hoine was previously in Investment Banking with J.P. Morgan & Co. focusing on Financial Institutions responsible for the bank's executing and marketing of mergers and acquisition, and debt and equity underwriting.
Mr. Hoine received his Bachelor degree with Cum Laude, in Economics and Business Administration from Vanderbilt University in May 1996.
