Terence Healy

Terence Healy is a partner in the Washington, DC office of Reed Smith LLP. His practice focuses on representing institutions and individuals in matters against the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"), Department of Justice ("DOJ"), and other financial regulators. He is a seasoned trial lawyer and has been lead trial counsel in numerous complex and multidistrict matters tried to verdict.
Before joining Reed Smith, Terence spent 14 years at the DOJ and SEC where he represented the interests of the United States in trial and appellate courts throughout the country. As Senior Assistant Chief Litigation Counsel for the SEC's Division of Enforcement, he directed investigations and prosecuted violations of the federal securities laws in cases related to accounting fraud, insider trading, offering fraud, FCPA, structured products, and other issues.
