Michael Peltz

Michael Peltz is Editor of Institutional Investor’s magazine group, overseeing all editorial operations, including its digital properties. The group’s flagship magazine, Institutional Investor, is published in two editions — Americas and International — and goes out to 100,000 leaders in finance and business in more than 100 countries around the world, and reaches hundreds of thousands more through the institutionalinvestor.com website. The group also publishes Institutional Investor’s Alpha, a leading website (institutionalinvestorsalpha.com) and publication dedicated to covering the hedge fund industry.
During his more than 25 years as a financial journalist, Michael has closely followed Wall Street, asset management, hedge funds and other alternative investments, derivatives and trading, and economic and finance theories. He has been interviewed numerous times on television, including BBC, CNBC, Fox News, MSNBC and the Today Show. Michael began his journalism career as a Copy Editor for Institutional Investor. In 1996, he joined Worth magazine to be a Senior Writer and later Financial Editor. From 2003 to 2005 he worked as a Senior Writer for Bloomberg Markets magazine, before returning to Institutional Investor as Editor of Alpha. Michael has a bachelor’s degree in English and Comparative Literature from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.
