Ingrid Pierce

Ingrid regularly advises some of the largest financial institutions on their stable of offshore funds. She represents major institutions, fund managers, general partners, directors and trustees in all aspects of investment funds, including structuring, ongoing operations and regulatory issues. Ingrid has particular expertise in advising funds on managing distress in volatile markets and has acted as counsel to significant investors and managers in connection with the restructuring and winding down of several high profile funds.
Ingrid obtained an honours degree in Law at University College, University of London. She undertook both common law and chancery pupillages and was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in 1992. She was in practice as a Barrister in London for 9 years before joining Walkers.
