Christian Angermayer
Chief Executive Officer: Angermayer, Brumm & Lange Group
Christian Angermayer is the founder and Co-CEO of the Angermayer, Brumm & Lange Group (ABL Group). He is responsible for the overall strategy of the financial services group, for business development and for international relations. In the day-to-day management he is in charge of the investment banking division and the African business.
The ABL Group is an independent, international financial services group with the business units of Asset Management, Product Distribution and Investment Banking/Brokerage. The group has currently approx. 4.6 billion Euro assets under management/administration, with approx. 450 employees active in 16 countries worldwide as well as with 21,000 independent financial advisors (IFAs) in German speaking countries. The core topics are German Small- and Medium-Sized Companies (“German Mittelstand”), Natural Resources, Renewable Energy and Emerging Markets with a focus on Africa.
In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, Christian Angermayer places great value on social and societal commitments. Since 2011 he is a member of the Young Global Leaders programme as well as of the Advisory Council of the Global Growth Companies of the World Economic Forum (WEF). Christian Angermayer serves as a member of the Presidential Advisory Council of His Excellency President Paul Kagame of Rwanda since 2008. Christian Angermayer is member of the Advisory Council of Bank Sarasin AG. He is also an active member of the Clinton Global Initiative.
