Richard Okuno
Director, GI Capital Securities Ltd.
Rick began his career at Morgan Stanley in 1986, where he worked in their New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong offices. He moved to the asset management business in 1999 as the head of marketing for Franklin Templeton in Japan. He subsequently founded a third party fund marketing company in Tokyo and a hedge fund platform in Singapore. He was the head of the product development team at SMBC Barclays prior to joining GI Capital in March, 2013. Rick graduated from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts.
