Kyoya Okazawa

Kyoya Okazawa is Head of Global Equities & Commodity Derivatives, Japan at BNP Paribas where he is spearheading the expansion of the bank's derivatives business in Japan for different clients.
Kyoya has great insight of Japan having worked with a variety of stakeholders of the banks and established a strong relationship with the various policy makers.
Kyoya joined the bank from Credit Suisse where he held roles as the Head of Foreign Equity Sales (2001-2004), Head of Equity Research (2004-2008), Co-head of Equity Sales (2008-2009) and Head of Equity (2009-2011) during the 10 years with the bank.
He started his career at UBS Securities in 1993 as Foreign Equity Sales after he received his B.A in Economics from Keio University in the same year.
