Jack Oliver currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Barclays providing senior relationship management for top clients across investment banking and capital markets management. Oliver develops firm-wide relationships with financial sponsors, Fortune 100 companies across several industries, and middle market companies throughout the country. Oliver was also responsible for generating over $1 billion of assets under management from high net worth individuals. Additionally, Oliver serves as a Senior Advisor of Bryan Cave LLP, an international law firm based in St. Louis, MO.
Oliver served for two years as Co-Chairman of the ONE Campaign, an organization led by U2's Bono, DATA and the Gates Foundation to raise public awareness about global poverty and disease in developing countries. Is a member of the Robin Hood Foundation Leadership Council, on the National Leadership Council of Communities in Schools, an Advisory Council member of the George Bush Presidential Library at Texas A&M University, a Member of the External Advisory Board of the Washington University, Gephardt Institute for Public Service, an Advisory Member of the Danforth Leadership Council, Danforth Plant Science Center, Member of the National Finance Committee of the George W. Bush Foundation, and a Director for the Legacy Educational Foundation. Oliver also serves on the Board of Directors for three companies: E-Health Corporation, Crescendo Bioscience, and Innovus Inc.
Oliver is actively involved the highest levels of national and Missouri politics . Described by TIME magazine as the man largely responsible for what is being heralded as the most formidable money machine in modern political history, Mr. Oliver served as National Finance Vice-Chairman for Bush-Cheney 04 and Victory 2004 managing the campaign’s $240 million national finance plan. Prior to that, Mr. Oliver was Deputy Chairman of the Republican National Committee, serving as Chief Operating Officer and overseeing all day-to-day operations of the 2002 effort resulting in historic Republican mid-term gains in the House and Senate. Mr. Oliver served as National Finance Director for then-Governor George W. Bush’s 2000 presidential campaign and managed a fundraising effort in the primary and general election that shattered all previous presidential fundraising records.
Mr. Oliver received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Vanderbilt University and a law degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He and his wife Rachel are the proud parents of Kate, Henry, and Lilly.
