• Involved in the finance sector, principally superannuation, since joining the Colonial Mutual group in 1966

 

•Worked with Colonial until 1997, the last 20 years in senior managerial roles, including state manager, national marketing manager, general manager of subsidiary companies and deputy CEO of the United Kingdom business

 

• Joined Industry Fund Services in 1997 as managing director and was involved in the establishment of Super Partners (an administration company with 5 million member accounts and $100B assets under administration), Members Equity Bank, Industry Fund Management (currently more than $30B funds under management in infrastructure, private equity, fixed interest and Australian equities) and Frontier Investment Consulting

 

•Appointed CEO of CBus, the super fund for the building and construction industry, in 2004. (Retired from full time work in 2008.)

 

•Served on the boards of Members Equity Bank, Super Partners, Industry Fund Services, and CareSuper from 2008

 

•A panel member of the National Enquiry into Superannuation 2009‐10
