GI Capital Securities Ltd. ("GI Capital") is a fully licensed broker-dealer and is a placement agent for a select group of alternative and innovative investment managers that have elected to outsource their marketing and fundraising efforts in Asia with strong focus in Japan and Korea.
We are committed to representing and introducing to our network of Asian alternative investment community only a small number of noncompeting strategies at any one time in any given region. We will develop a long-term partnership with the asset managers that we represent and gain a full understanding as to their organization, management pedigree, strategy, etc., which in turn will enable us to have a very effective, candid discussion with our investors. We represent managers on an exclusive basis, subsequent to a thorough due diligence process we undertake prior to taking on mandates. Furthermore, we monitor developments on an ongoing basis at managers that we have been mandated to represent.
With our extensive network of institutional investors in Asia, we ensure access to different investor segments as we have specialists who understand their demand and appetite for global alternative investment managers.
