EJF Capital LLC
Established in 2005, EJF Capital LLC (“EJF”) is an SEC registered alternative asset manager with approximately $2.3 billion in assets under management as of August 1, 2012 that leverages the capital market experience of a team of industry professionals. Emanuel Friedman and Neal Wilson founded the firm and selected key individuals from the alternative asset group at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Group, Inc., (now know as Arlington Asset Investment Corp., “FBR”) to lay the foundation. This core team has grown to 33 individuals, with 17 investment professionals and a team of operations specialists.
